  1. Take 3 cup Reduced-sodium chicken broth

  9. Take 2 tbsp Fresh dill, chopped

I've made this recipe twice already and it taste just like my mom's homemade chicken noodle soup. Pour the Chicken Broth into the pot enough to completely cover the chicken in a large stew pot and bring the broth to a boil. After your chicken is done cooking, pull it out and put it on a plate for de-boning. While de-boning, put chopped veggies into the broth and reduce heat to medium low.

Instructions to make Mom's Chicken Noodle Soup:

  1. In a large pot, combine broth, 2 cups water, chicken, garlic, and salt. Bring to boil over high heat, reduce to simmer, cover and cook until chicken is cooked through, about 15 minutes.
  2. With a slotted spoon, transfer chicken and garlic to cutting board. Discard garlic and strip meat from bones (if necessary) and dice. Skim fat from broth.
  3. Add onions, carrots, and celery to broth. Return to boil.
  4. Reduce to simmer, cover and cook until vegetables are almost tender (about 5 minutes).
  5. Add pasta/noodles and cook uncovered 7 minutes. Add diced chicken and cook until pasta/noodles are tender, about 3 minutes longer.
  6. Ladle into bowls and garnish with dill.
