Bok choy (American English), pak choi (British English), or pok choi (Brassica rapa subsp. chinensis) is a type of Chinese cabbage. Chinensis varieties do not form heads and have green leaf blades with. Bok choy, also known as leafy Chinese-cabbage, is one of the popular vegetables in the mainland China, Philippines, Vietnam and other East-Asian regions.

The ingredients needed to make Bok Choy:

  1. Prepare 1 lb Bok Choy
  2. Make ready 4-6 Black Mushrooms (or any type that you like really)

  4. Get 1/4 cup Chicken or vegetable stock
  5. Get 1/2 tsp sugar
  6. Make ready 1 tsp corn starch dissolved in 2 tbls water
  7. Make ready to taste Salt & pepper

  1. Prep: chop and dice the Bok Choy; separating the leaves. Dice/slice mushrooms
  2. Heat oil and saute Bok Choy for 1 minute.
  3. Add leaves & salt; saute for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add mushrooms and stock; boil.
  5. Mix in sugar and corn starch. Serve!
