  1. Take a mixing bowl and sieve all the dry ingredients and mix well.

I went a tad heavy on the chocolate in this recipe, because I love chocolate! If you prefer less chocolate and/or a more vivid shade of red in your cake, cut back to just a tablespoon or so of cocoa powder. Why does the sugar need to be organic? To make vegan red velvet cake: In a large bowl, whisk the dry ingredients together. In a medium bowl, mix the wet ingredients together.
