  6. Fry until the boondi becomes crispy
  7. To a mixer add 1/2 of the prepared boondi & grind it to 70%
  8. To a separate pan add sugar,food colour(optional),water(1/2cup),cardamon & prepare sugar syrup (string consistency)
  9. Now add the sugar syrup to the boondi & add some ghee (3tbsp) and mix well
  10. Grease your hands with ghee and make the laddu balls
  11. You can store in any air tight container for 1 week

I have made the recipe very simpler with step by step cooking instructions and pictures. Motichur Laddu is another famous sweet in India. It is made specially during Holi, Diwali and Ganesh Chaturthi festivals. The only difference between boondi laddu and motichur laddu is that boondi is fried in oil for normal laddu and colour is nt added. Soft, sweet & flavorful laddus are loved by all.
