A delicious beef stroganoff recipe for the slow cooker. This one uses round steak and golden mushroom soup mixed with egg noodles and sour cream. Very simple to assemble and the slow cooker does the work for you.

  1. Take boneless sirloin steak, cut into 1-inch strips

  7. Prepare salt

  9. Get tomato paste

Instructions to make Beef Stroganoff:

  1. Dredge steak strips with flour; reserve remaining flour
  2. Brown strips in melted butter in 12-inch skillet
  3. Add onion and cook 3-4 minutes
  4. Remove meat and onion from skillet
  5. Blend reserved flour into pan drippings in skillet
  6. Cook over medium heat 1 minute, stirring constantly
  7. Stir in beef bouillon and worcestershire.
  8. Stirring constantly, cook until thickened
  9. Stir in salt, mustard, tomato paste
  10. Blend in sour cream
  11. Add mushrooms, cook for about 5-10 minutes until the mushrooms soften
  12. Add meat
  13. Cool quickly
  14. Serve over rice or noodles

Never suffer through dry chewy beef or bland Stroganoff sauce again - this recipe delivers!! Pat meat dry with paper towels. Heat oil in heavy large skillet over high heat until very hot. Working in batches, add meat in single layer and cook. Instead of parsley, garnish the stroganoff with thinly sliced fresh chives or green onion tops.
