To begin with this particular recipe, we have to first prepare a few ingredients. You can cook nachos (non-fried) using 7 ingredients and 6 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Nachos (non-fried):

  1. Prepare 1/2 cup Water
  2. Prepare Pinch Baking soda
  3. Prepare Pinch Turmeric powder
  4. Make ready 1/2 cup Maize flour
  5. Make ready 4 tbsp All-purpose flour/Wheat flour/ Corn flour
  6. Take as per taste Salt
  7. Prepare as per taste Pepper

In a non-stick pan, heat a dash of oil and brown mince in batches. Crunchy, cheesy, spicy, creamy and absolutely delicious. We have recently been away on vacation, and I love to cook and develop recipes when I have more time. Top this masterpiece evenly with the cheese, putting a little extra directly on the pan around the perimeter of the nachos.

Instructions to make Nachos (non-fried):

  1. Heat water in a pan. Add baking soda and turmeric powder when it starts to simmer.
  2. Then, add maize flour and fold well. Turn off the flame and keep it aside for about 12 minutes.
  3. Once It has cooled down partially, add all-purpose flour, salt and pepper, and knead a soft dough(crackfree).
  4. Take small portion of a dough between two plastic sheets and roll it into a thin tortilla. - Tip- Apply some oil on plastic sheets before you start rolling. - Tip- Use papad maker, if available.
  5. Then, cut it into triangular pieces, apply little oil and bake them at 180 C until crisp.
  6. Serve it with cheese sauce, salsa and sour cream.
