I like to start making the tabouleh by mixing the dressing. It's made up of two ingredients: olive oil and lemon juice - easy enough!

Instructions to make Tabouleh:

  1. Pour bulgur in water and Let stand 5 to 10 minutes or until most of the liquid is absorbed and bulgur is fluffy and tender. Pour off any remaining liquid.
  2. To prepare dressing, whisk together lemon juice,pomegranate syrup, salt and olive oil. Taste and adjust seasonings.
  3. In a large salad bowl, toss together parsley, tomatoes, green & white onions and mint.
  4. Add bulgur. Pour dressing over salad, toss to combine. Taste and adjust seasonings.

A bit of olive oil and lemon juice. I'm lebanese so tabouleh is our favorite "salad" but we don't add cucumbers plus we soak the burgal in hot water till its drained P.
