Focaccia is a delicious Italian flat bread flavored with a extra-virgin olive oil, rosemary and flaky sea salt for the classic version. Save Recipe. (Chef's Note: This may seem excessive, but focaccia is an oily crusted bread. This is why it is soooooooooo delicious!).

Focaccia is one of the most popular of current trending foods in the world. It is simple, it is quick, it tastes yummy. It is enjoyed by millions every day. They’re nice and they look fantastic. Focaccia is something that I have loved my entire life.

The ingredients needed to make Focaccia:

  2. Make ready 20 g fresh yeast (room temperature)
  3. Take 160 ml warm water

I used a very high protein European style bread flour and it was great. I thought before I baked it that the dough was a bit. The focaccia can also be made ahead and frozen. To freeze, cut it into portions, wrap in plastic wrap and then foil and freeze for up to.

Steps to make Focaccia:

  5. Cut the courgette and cheese into slices, and cherry tomatoes in halves. Arrange slices of cheese on the dough, cover with slices of zucchini and cherry tomatoes halves, season with salt and herbs and drizzle with oil. Let stand for 15 minutes. In the meantime, preheat the oven to 220C/430F. Bake for 15 minutes.
