  6. Take 1 tsp lemon juice
  7. Get to taste Salt
  8. Make ready 2 tbsp olive oil
  9. Prepare 2 tbsp chickpea water

Rinse sprouted chickpeas to remove any film that has developed. Most people buy chickpeas in cans or bags. Soaking is a common alternative to boiling chickpeas for hummus. This method requires putting chickpeas in a large pot.

Steps to make Smoked Chikpeas Hummus:

  1. In a mixture grinder take chickpeas, add tahini & garlic to it.
  2. Now add lemon juice, olive oil & salt.
  3. Lastly add cumin powder, Chikpeas water & blend hummus into a smooth paste.
  4. Plate the hummus, drizzle some more olive oil, sprinkle little paprika powder & parsley & serve.
  5. Note- checkout the image of the burnt/smoked chickpeas, they shouldn't be over burnt.

My current favorite hummus flavor is Chipotle Hummus. Oh man, it is SO good. Bring to a boil over high heat. Note • To smoke the chickpeas without a smoker box, line a wok with aluminium foil and place the smoking chips on top. Chickpeas (hummus, chana masala, meringues, cookies).
