Sago vada is one of the most favored of current trending foods in the world. It is easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. It is appreciated by millions daily. Sago vada is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They’re fine and they look wonderful.

To get started with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have sago vada using 6 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you cook that.

The ingredients needed to make Sago vada:

  1. Get 1 cup sabudana
  2. Get 3,4 boiled potatoes
  3. Take 2 tbsp singhara atta
  4. Make ready 2,3 chopped green chillies
  5. Get 1 tsp salt or to taste
  6. Take 3 tbsp oil

You can add little rice flour to troubleshoot. Sabudana (Sago / Jevvarsi) vada is a famous Vrat Dish in Maharashtra and other Northern parts of India especially for Durga Pooja (Navratri). That we can call as SouthIndian Style Sabudana Vada. Sabudana Vada also called 'Sago Vada'.

Instructions to make Sago vada:

  1. Soak sabudana for one hour. After that drain water add boiled potatoes and mix well
  2. Then add singhara atta, chopped chillies,salt, water if required & make dough.
  3. At this stage make shape like vada or tikki. Heat oil in a pan fry these vadas one by one.
  4. Transfer in a plate and serve with nariyal chutney. Very nice snacks for navratras.

Sago or Sabundana or Javvarisi Vada is usually prepared during Navarathri. This is a popular and traditional snack from Maharashtra. Then squeeze out the water from sago. Mix sago, chopped onion, green chillies, coriander, chilli powder, salt, add gram flour to it. Now shape them into small balls and flatten them.
