Butter chicken is usually made with boneless chicken so I decided to go with breast fillets cut into medium- sized pieces.

Butter Chicken Biryani - Rice, Biryani, Pulao Butter chicken is a popular curry these days, especially between youngsters. Half cooked rice is layered with prepared butter chicken and steamed.

Steps to make Butter Chicken biryani:

  1. Wash & soak the rice for 20 minutes. Meanwhile, put onion & tomatoes in the mixie & grind to make smooth paste.
  2. Heat pure ghee in a karahi & add bay leaf with tomato paste. Add all the ingredients & cook on low flame till oil spreads from corners. Add cream & cook for few minutes.
  3. Now add washed raw chicken.no need to add water. Cook on low flame till they little soft.
  4. Rinse water from the rice & add to the chicken with 4 cups of water. Cover with lid & cook on low flame for 20 minutes. Serve hot with Curd.

Biryani is taken out in a dish and topped off with silver leaves, cashew nuts, fried potatoes, onions and ginger. Tandoor grilled chicken prepared with a creamy rich tomato sauce.
