Wash, dry and place in a mixing bowl. Fresh raw squid seafood lemon parsley tomato and chilli on ice bucket in the restaurant. Heat the oil in a wok and fry the garlic and onion until soft and beginning to brown. Add the tomatoes, soy sauce, nutmeg, cloves, and lime juice, then bring to a boil.

  1. In a large frying pan heat up around 1tbsp cooking oil over a medium heat. Add in the red onions and cook gently until just becoming translucent. Add in the red pepper and baby plum tomatoes. Stir then season well with salt and pepper. Add the smoked paprika, garlic, cayenne pepper and chilli flakes along with the tomato paste. Combine together well.
  2. Add in the tinned tomatoes, water and the sugar. Stir to combine. Bring to a gentle simmer. Simmer for around 10-12 minutes or until the sauce reduces down a little.
  3. Add in the squid and simmer for another few minutes until the squid is cooked through and nice and tender. Don't overcook otherwise it'll be chewy.
  4. Serve up garnish with fresh basil leaves and enjoy! :)
